Real alum consists of almost 100% potassium alum (=potassium aluminum sulfate) and water of crystallization. Unlike many alum sticks, which primarily contain aluminum sulfate, this shaving stone leaves no white marks when used.
Ideal for closing wounds in minor injuries!
Real alum stone can even be used as a substitute for aftershave, but it should be used with caution as it could leave aggressive residues on the skin.
