Of course, we based our work on the insights already gathered by other (older) manufacturers. And we haven't been able to improve much. However, the user-friendly application will show you that quite a few new insights have been incorporated into the development.
A lot of work went into the craftsmanship of the razor head, in particular. It's crucial that the metal be polished to a perfect smoothness and cleanness before the first nickel coating is applied. This is followed by the second coating, the bright chrome plating. Polishing is then carried out until everything shines and no surface irregularities remain. This guarantees durability and the material's perfect gliding properties.
To insert the blade, you unscrew the top of the razor head. You can then adjust the blade's desired setting (from rather rough to very soft) by tightening the screw. This isn't possible with newer razors with butterfly technology. And of course, we also give this razor...
