A super-sharp tool for classic wet shaving. The razor's unusually shaped handle is made of black Asian water buffalo horn. Despite (or perhaps because of) its slightly different shape, the razor sits comfortably in the hand and isn't too heavy.
The horn bowl was handcrafted and aged for a long time to prevent any subsequent deformation of the horn. However, horn should not be stored lying down in the sun or exposed to aggressive cleaning agents.
Dr. Dittmar razors are made in Solingen, double hollow ground 5/8 inch blade, highly refined special steel (carbon steel) not stainless.
