Dr. Dittmar Special Shaving Soap uses a soap mixture specially prepared according to an old family recipe, combined with warm water and a badger hair shaving brush, to provide excellent and quick preparation of the beard hair for a particularly thorough, gentle, and long-lasting shave.
The special action of Dr. Dittmar Special Shaving Soap pushes the beard hair far out from the hair canal, stabilizing it in the hair canal and softening it at the same time. This allows the razor blade to grasp it closer to the hair root and shave more easily without irritating the hair root. The absence of allergenic additives such as coumarin and geraniol, as well as the moisturizing effect of the soap, are gentle on the skin, making this soap particularly well-tolerated, even for sensitive skin. Redness and irritation after shaving are avoided, and problems with ingrown hairs are combated. The shave lasts a very long time ( usually longer than 8 hours ), and the soaking effect on the beard hair extends the lifespan of your razor blades.
