Truly unique pieces: These shaving brushes made from Watusi cattle horn are truly one-of-a-kind. Handcrafted, each one is available only once.

Each horn of the African Watusi cattle is differently colored, differently shaped and can be processed differently.

During the long, dark hours of the Westerwald winter, our workshop master set himself a task: Use these pieces of cow horn that are still lying around. They are beautifully colored and should be used to create something valuable.

The result is beautiful brush handles made from Watusi horn, with a base made of black buffalo horn.

Now, it's difficult for an online shop to offer unique pieces – these valuable shaving brushes actually belong in a physical store, where you can inspect each piece closely before purchasing it. Nevertheless, we want to try – after all, our customers are special people who usually recognize what's special.

The brushes, with a rim diameter of 20mm, are approximately 11cm tall and have a loft height of approximately 5.5cm. The handle diameters average about 3cm at the base, and each brush weighs approximately 120 grams.
The frequent use of the words "approximately" and "approximately" indicates that we are not offering standardized products here, but rather handcrafted, unique pieces. We hope for your understanding.

All brushes are made with only premium silvertip badger hair—the best badger hair available. Should the hair become thinner after a few years, send us the brush—we'll refurbish it. This makes these shaving brushes something special for generations to come.
