Dr. Dittmar's powdered shaving brush cleaner is specially formulated for the demanding badger hair of your shaving brush. Unlike other cleaners that are sprayed onto the brush, Dr. Dittmar's shaving brush cleaner works deep inside the brush head.

Shaving brushes must be thoroughly cleaned, especially at the base of the brush head, to remove soap scum and limescale deposits from tap water, preventing damage to the bristles. Simply moistening and wiping the tips of the bristles is ineffective – the entire brush head must be soaked and rinsed.

This is precisely what Dr. Dittmar Shaving Brush Cleaner guarantees. One pack contains six sachets, each sufficient for a thorough cleaning. We recommend cleaning your shaving brush approximately every 4-8 weeks (depending on usage). This prevents the dreaded bristle breakage that spreads from the center of the brush head outwards. In addition to removing unpleasant odors, the cleaner also very effectively removes soap residue and grease from the brush head. This, in turn, improves lathering and can even reduce the amount of shaving soap you need.

The shaving brush cleaner is also suitable for cleaning wet razors, as it removes limescale residue that can impair or damage the moving parts.
