Top quality that probably no other manufacturer uses anymore: Only the rare, extra-hard Himalayan boar bristles* were selected for the production of this special hairbrush. Himalayan boar bristles are particularly strong. This allows them to grip even thick and coarse hair just as securely as conventional hairbrushes artificially reinforced with plastic can.
The advantage over plastic-reinforced brushes is that each individual bundle of bristles acts completely on the hair and scalp, and the naturally calloused ends of the bristles distribute the hair oil in the hair in such a way that dryness and split ends are avoided.
With the plastic-reinforced brushes, however, the plastic pins massage the scalp - with the Himalaya bristle hairbrush, it is the natural ends of the bristles.

Only the first cut is used – this means that the former hair root, the original lower part of the bristle, now forms the keratinized upper end of each bristle bundle. This part is very similar to human skin, ensuring that the scalp is thoroughly massaged but never injured.

Brushes with Himalayan bristles are suitable for all hair types - but unlike the cheaper natural hair brushes with Chinese bristles, they are also able to penetrate and care for thick and long, even very curly hair.
The elaborate processing of the brush body from the durable and hard rosewood guarantees a very long durability and the fine pattern of the wood is beautifully highlighted by the careful beeswax polish.

A hairbrush for life.

By the way: This will be the last production run of the hairbrush made of rosewood. Rosewood is a largely protected wood species, and we will not purchase it again. Only the wood stocks we have in stock will be processed.

*Definition of Himalayan bristles: We refer to the highest quality of Calcutta bristles as Himalayan bristles. It is indeed the original Calcutta bristles that we use. However, since the term "Calcutta bristles" has been significantly diluted in recent years by inferior grades, and some manufacturers would prefer not to use the term, we have decided to label our highest Calcutta-quality bristles as Himalayan bristles.
