Horn hair clip large ellipse

This horn clasp is intricately handcrafted, making each one a unique piece of art. Watusi cattle horn is a natural product, so the colors vary. When the horn is sanded smooth, various layers are removed, creating lighter areas and stripes against a darker background. The colors range from cream and sand to medium brown and black.

The clips are made from French barrettes from the Clip Paris brand. Unlike many other clip styles, the patent barrette isn't simply glued or riveted to the horn, but is laboriously and permanently screwed to a Plexiglas spacer.

This clip size is suitable for thick, lush, long hair. Clip length: 90mm.
