Horn hair clips collection unique pieces

A collection of prototypes for Honr hair clips that never made it into mass production. Each piece is unique.

Horn is a natural product, so colors vary. When the horn is sanded smooth, various layers are removed, leaving light areas and stripes against a darker background. The color spectrum ranges from cream and sandy to medium brown and black.

The braces used were almost exclusively patent braces "Made in France".
(Exception No. 06, without the inscription Made in France).

The patent brace is not glued or riveted directly onto the horn like many other brace models, but is laboriously and permanently screwed to a Plexiglas reinforcement.

These braces sizes range from 50mm to 90mm.
