Elaborately crafted horn handle shaving brush with 2-band silver tip and shaving brush holder, made from a single piece of horn.
This is a very demanding set from a technical perspective, as the brush and horn holder must harmonize in color and be precisely matched in terms of the diameter.
Since the African Watusi cattle that provide this horn material are relatively unconcerned with German DIN standards, each individual set must be matched by hand and eye. Since the final color of the horn is only visible after the final polishing, one can imagine that quite a few brush handles and holders have to be manufactured before the appropriate pieces can be "married" together.

Loft height (visible hair length): approx. 50 mm
Weight: approx. 85 grams
Genuine 2-band silvertip hair is popular with connoisseurs because it has more backbone than any other badger hair variety while still being very soft at the tips.
For production, particularly long and strong badger hair is required, which should also have the lightest tips possible.
In addition, our "two-bands" are tied very tightly, which also supports the "strong backbone" characteristic.
