Genuine Watusi horn - each piece is unique, because the fine pattern of the material is always different, but always almost white to light brown.
The horn of the Watusi cattle originates from Africa. These cattle, which are kept there as working and farm animals just like our European cattle, develop enormous horns that can reach up to 1 meter in length. Unlike us, Africans don't place any value on artificially breeding cattle horns – because there is no shortage of space. Thus, these impressive horns can be used to make everyday objects, such as combs and handles for shaving brushes and razors.
The razor is equipped with a Schick System pivoting blade holder in gold (color). (This is rare, but otherwise offers no advantage over regular pivoting blade holders.)
The horn handle is comfortable to hold and is carefully wax polished so that it will last a very long time.
Handle length: approx. 10 cm
Total length with blade approx. 14 cm

Gillette Contour (or Contour PLUS)?
With this system, the razor blades are attached to the razor holder using movable hooks.
This causes the blade to "swing" up and down, which is intended to
that the blades can better follow the contours of the skin.
Especially in the USA, the system became known under the trade names "Atra" or "Vector".
The addition "Plus" means that a so-called "Lubrastrip" is attached to the blades, which is intended to improve the gliding properties of the blade.
Only in the case of the "Vector" does "Plus" mean that a small plastic slider is attached to the blade,
which is designed to make it easier to remove the hair between the blades.
