The Dr. Dittmar toiletry bag is made of very thick and sturdy cowhide (car leather) and is carefully sewn with very durable thread and is closed with three highly durable YKK metal zippers, familiar from jeans.
The bag's two compartments, which open from the top, each measure approximately 24 x 12 x 6 cm. The side-opening compartment is useful for smaller items, such as cotton swabs or a pack of razor blades.
All three compartments are lined with waterproof nylon fabric, allowing you to carry moist toiletries and clean the inside of the bag with a damp cloth.
The double-stitched leather carrying strap is very tear-resistant and can withstand even more forceful use (when the suitcase is tightly packed and the toiletry bag has to be taken out first...).
When fully packed and closed, the bag is compact and requires relatively little storage space. With external dimensions of just 24 x 12 x 12 cm, it easily fits even in a small trolley.

Misuse*:
The visibly high-quality workmanship and materials make the bag, although designed as a toiletry bag, also attractive as a men's handbag (even if that's somewhat out of fashion) or as a travel document bag. Frequent travelers in particular appreciate not having to individually drop their passports, wallets, airline tickets, car keys, and especially their mobile phones into the plastic boxes at the security gate.
*We would like to point out a second possible use, which a grateful customer told us: You can store a sturdy flashlight in one of the two compartments of the vintage version of this bag and - assuming a sufficiently firm handshake - you have a quite respectable close combat weapon for dealing with pickpockets.
