Rapira Platinum Lux razor blades 30s

The Platinum Lux from Rapira is made of stainless steel, is very thin, and is additionally coated with platinum. It fits all standard safety razors.

The manufacturer with the less common name Mostochlegmash is based in Moscow and originally manufactured needles for the textile industry. That was in 1903. The company's history then experienced some serious turmoil, rooted in Russia's past. Today, the company is privately owned and uses modern facilities to manufacture products that have (in some cases) performed very well in the international market.

This is also true of Rapira razor blades – some consider them to be one of the best razor blade brands ever.

Each blade is individually wrapped first in wax paper, then in a protective, stronger paper before being placed in the cardboard box. Each cardboard box contains 5 blades and is then wrapped in protective cellophane.
