A 10 cm diameter genuine water buffalo shaving bowl, crafted from a single piece of heavy-duty wood. Polished inside, (almost) natural outside. A non-slip and durable piece with the finest craftsmanship.
The horn has been carefully polished inside and is thus well protected against soap and water by a layer of beeswax. Even the moisture left over from soap won't harm the shell. However, if the shell ever needs cleaning, you should avoid very hot water, household cleaners, or even putting it in the dishwasher, or flash-drying it on a radiator or with a hairdryer.

The exterior of the bowl was left largely untouched. The naturally rough surface of the water buffalo horn was retained, making the bowl easy to grip even with wet hands.
The shells are thick-walled and therefore comparatively heavy. Some of these horn shells weigh up to 60 grams.
