Shaving set "Amber"

Shaving set in amber finish made of high-quality resin and brass. Compatible with many Gillette shaving systems and available in three badger hair qualities.

Precious and rare stones form the basis for the design of this shaving set. Heavy basalt or quartz is beautiful—but unfortunately, it's rather impractical for everyday use. Stones are heavy (and will therefore break the porcelain in the sink if dropped), and a shaving brush that's too heavy could turn your morning brushing into a morning exercise.

That's why we looked for an alternative, and found one: With careful handcrafting, high-quality resin can produce a very similar appearance to rare stones. Just like natural stones, each piece is unique. The liquid high-quality resin develops rather random structures as it hardens – no one can influence these. Each piece is therefore unique.

Amber was the inspiration here.

Turned and polished, the shaving set consists of unique individual parts. Assembly is done entirely without adhesives—everything is joined together with brass screws.
Handmade. Valuable craftsmanship made in Germany – with the potential to become heirlooms. (And if the shaving brush head ever gets thinner, or someone develops a new shaving system with even more blades, Dr. Dittmar will make it fit this shaving set as well.)

The shaving set has a total height of approximately 20 cm (including brush and razor), weighs approximately 350 grams (including brush and razor) and requires approximately 8 square centimeters of floor space.

The shaving brush is made with the finest silvertip badger hair and has a ring diameter of 21mm.

As an alternative to silvertip badger hair, the brush can also be ordered with Badger Premium Silvertip (with even lighter tips than the fine silvertip badger hair) or with NylBadger (synthetic badger hair). Please select the desired badger hair quality below.
