A total diameter of 76 mm with a brush body measuring just 16 mm in diameter. That's something special! This round brush, crafted with a brow-shaped groove and olive wood handle, is ideal as a grooming brush and styling brush for particularly thick and voluminous hair.
Top quality: Only the rare, particularly hard Himalayan wild boar bristles* were selected for the production of this special hairbrush.
Himalayan boar bristles are particularly strong, allowing them to grip even thick and coarse hair just as securely as traditional hairbrushes artificially reinforced with plastic can.
The advantage over plastic-reinforced brushes is that each individual bundle of bristles acts completely on the hair and scalp, and the naturally calloused ends of the bristles distribute the hair oil in the hair in such a way that dryness and split ends are avoided.
With the plastic-reinforced brushes, the plastic pins massage the scalp - with the Himalaya bristle hairbrush, it is the natural ends of the bristles.
Only the first cut is used – this means that the former hair root, the original lower part of the bristle, now forms the keratinized upper end of each bristle bundle. This part is very similar to human skin, ensuring that the scalp is thoroughly massaged but never injured.
Brushes with Himalayan bristles are suitable for all hair types - but unlike the cheaper natural hair brushes with Chinese bristles, they are also able to penetrate and care for thick and long, even very curly hair.
Caution : Do not twist the round brush into your hair! This could result in the brush having to remain in your hair, which might look odd.

*Definition of Himalayan bristles: We refer to the highest quality of Calcutta bristles as Himalayan bristles. It is indeed the original Calcutta bristles that we use. However, since the term "Calcutta bristles" has been significantly diluted in recent years by inferior grades, and some manufacturers would prefer not to use the term, we have decided to label our highest Calcutta-quality bristles as Himalayan bristles.
