Such a richness of color is rarely achieved with natural horn. The colors within a single brush handle range from pure white to deep black, through beige and brown, gray, and ivory.
Such unusual color combinations are only occasionally found by chance in the manufacture of shaving brush handles. Therefore, targeted production of these diverse handles is not even possible.
We'd like to offer a few pieces we have in stock here – at the same price as the "regular" horn handles. Although these colors are extremely rare (and therefore arguably more valuable), the production costs are the same – hence the same price.
The badger hair is, of course, also of the finest quality: premium silvertip from the Highland animal is a given for these brushes. Of course, like all brushes made by Dr. Dittmar in Alpenrod, Westerwald, they are entirely handmade.
After years of daily use, should the brush head ever need a refurbishment, we'll, of course, take care of that for you, too. This way, this gem of shaving brush production can bring you a lifetime of enjoyment.
We strongly recommend storing the brush in a holder with the brush head facing down to prevent moisture from accumulating and damaging the badger hair.
Dimensions of the shaving brush:
Ring diameter: 24 mm
Total height: approx. 102 mm
visible hair length: approx. 52 mm
Total weight: approx. 70 grams
