Vegan shaving brush ivory

High-quality shaving brush with a handle made of ivory-colored, high-quality resin. High-quality resin handles are solid and have a similar feel to real horn. Compared to plastic, the handle is heavier, making it easier to hold.

The brush head made from our silvertip badger hair is very soft at the tips and is visually almost indistinguishable from real silvertip badger hair.

Producing synthetic "badger hair" isn't all that easy. Real badger hair is very soft, can retain water between the badger hairs without allowing it to penetrate the hair itself, and thus remains just as elastic even when wet.

They have now succeeded in producing a synthetic hair that is just as soft as genuine badger plucked hair. It even surpasses the black "pure badger" quality. While the synthetic hair doesn't retain the same elasticity when wet as genuine badger hair, it lathers up shaving soap excellently and can thus surpass, if not the genuine badger brush, then at least the hog-bristle shaving brush in terms of use and appearance.

The production of the synthetic badger head is quite complex – the actual handcrafting of the head itself is identical to that of a real badger head. A key advantage is the theoretically unlimited availability of the material and the fact that it makes a caring and thorough wet shave with a brush and shaving soap available to vegans and those who do not want or are not allowed to use animal products for religious or ethical reasons.
